Northern Territory

14 juni 2013 - Sunshine Coast, Australië

Hi everyone,
After a very long trip up north, we arrived in hot Darwin! We visited the city and took off straight away to Litchfield national park, where luckily the mozzies weren't the only Aussie wildlife around. Our camper van is very nice and easy to drive, even when Julie drives.
We don't have any cellphone reception here (we can't remember the last time we were this liberated from our mobile duties). We had a swim in many of the falls at Litchfield which made the heat bearable. At night, the park wakes up and we saw a lot of wildlife with our giant dolphin torch that keeps the snakes at bay (according to Julie. Yesterday we saw a crocodile jumping display and there were huge (6+m) crocs right next to the boat.
Now it's off to Kakadu, we will talk to you later.

Photos will follow.
